Decorating Tips for Childrens Nursery or Bedroom

Once you have decided what room you are going to use for your nursery or new bedroom, take some time assessing the space you have to work with. You will need to consider if the room has enough lighting and storage. Before choosing colours make sure you have made your cot or bed purchase as this will be the centrepiece of the room!

Dual functional furniture are a great asset, for example a cot that turns into a toddler bed or a chest of drawers used as a change table that can later be used as a dresser. Furniture will be your biggest expense so choose at least one classic piece of furniture that will last a life time and will make a statement in the space you are putting it in.

Freshening up a space that your child currently is in can be a very easy and fun! Just add new lighting, a rug, a few new cushions scattered on the bed, simple storage to de-clutter.
